Laurence taught at Texas A&M University and upon retirement from the university decided to became a massage therapist. He graduated from ASM in 1997 and developed a full-time practice. He has extensive knowledge of pain management techniques and has written a technique manual for massage therapists. He has been teaching for ASM since 2000, and he finds it very rewarding to help his students grow into professional massage therapists.
