Massage Therapy in Texas has come a long way since I began training students 23 years ago. At that time, there was no professional training; there were few real therapists and little acceptance of the benefits of massage. My vision was to create a school that would train students to become successful professional therapists and increase the recognition and acceptance of massage. Austin Schools of Massage has grown to become a community of over 80 instructors and staff in 12 different Texas cities. Our 8,000 graduates practice in almost every Texas city, throughout the U.S. and overseas. Students and graduates stay in contact through our website asmt.com.

ASM leads the way in setting standards that will increase massage therapists’ skills and recognition.
